Epic weekend in Estes

Labor Day weekend in Estes Park was epic for mountain bikers and runners alike, as they competed in the first ever Estes Epic.

Estes Epic was held over the weekend with a mountain bike race of 25 and 50 miles on Saturday. The 25 mile race had 70 participants, with the longer race having 28.

Sunday had three events, a heavy half marathon, which had 35 competitors, a full marathon with 18 entries, and a 50 mile ultra run, which had six participants.

I’ve really started to enjoy mtn biking over the last couple months and decided last minute to sign up for the #estesepic ! It was quite the leg burner with 3000ft of gain in 25 miles but a super fun experience! I even made it on the podium in my age group! 🚵🏼‍♀️
