Please join the Estes Park Cycling Coalition (EPCC) for our fall general meeting next Wednesday, November 13, 7pm at the Twin Owls Steakhouse, where our guest speaker will be local high school racer, Peyton Wilkerson.

Wilkerson, who was the Colorado High School North Conference Varsity Champion and 3rd in the State, will be will be speaking about his experiences on the High School Mountain Bike Team, struggles, and how cycling became a passion.

“We are excited to have Peyton as our guest speaker,” said the EPCC President Mike Lewelling, “He brings a unique view of high school mountain biking and how that experience has inspired him to pursue cycling into the future.” In addition to hearing Wilkerson’s talk, we will be discussing the High School Mountain Bike team opportunities for local kids in the coming years, “and hear why High School Mountain Biking is such a great sport.” Lewelling continued.

EPCC will also be providing updates on upgrades to the Stanley Park Bike Park, review of last summer’s activities such as “Bike Estes Day,” and the Adaptive Cycling event.

The Estes Park Cycling Coalition is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose Mission is to promote and increase cycling of all kinds in the Estes Valley, through advocacy, education, partnerships and community building. Now in its fifth year, the Coalition strives to cultivate a biking culture in the community and make the Estes area a destination for cyclists.
